HIP HOP

HIP HOP

Hip hop culture began in the late 1960s by the Hispanic, African-American community in the US, synonymously with rap, scratch music and graffiti art. The styles include the break-dancing and body-popping movements that were recognised internationally as early as the 1970s. Hip hop is evolving and taught worldwide, reflecting deeper values of honesty, competitiveness, equality, teamwork and multicultural coexistence. It is taught and showcased while experiencing continuous flourishing. The style of each choreographer-teacher is personal and carries on its authenticity.
