PBT (Progressing Ballet Tecnique)

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body strengthening program designed to enhance students' technique by focusing on training the muscle memory required for each exercise in all forms of dance. It is a unique training system that uses specific ballet technique exercises to train skill acquisition in a graded and progressive manner from beginning to advanced levels.

PBT helps teachers around the world prepare their students to receive the strength they need to achieve their personal goal. The program helps prevent and rehabilitate injuries and enhances athletes' ability to perform better. It can be difficult for students to feel which muscles initiate proper alignment during training. For instance, by using a ball, students gain a great sense of posture and weight placement while feeling each proper muscle group working in each exercise, which is then assimilated in both dance and athletic areas. PBT focuses on core strength, weight placement and body alignment with a gradual approach of planned exercises and their repetitions to activate muscle memory.

The program is designed with a safe dance methodology to promote a sustainable, healthy career. PBT is not only a technique improvement program for ballet dancers, it is now valued and incorporated into the training of all types of dancers, athletes, physical therapists and even football players.
